Many years ago, Agnes P. Parker clawed her way out of a murky Florida swamp and has spent the time since writing thinly veiled love letters to it. Those love letters take the form of romances set against the backdrop of that very swamp.
In addition to being distinctly Floridian, her writing centers disabled, neurodivergent, and queer characters who drive their stories. Her scorching romances are ecofeminist in nature, with other key themes including reproductive justice and bodily autonomy, mental health, isolation, conflict in family structures, and religion and cults. Parker’s works, whether novel-length or short story, exist in the thriller or fantasy subgenres. They feature flawed, compelling characters, witty, chemistry-filled banter, and hard-earned happily ever afters.
As for Parker herself, she is no one in particular and does not match any description befitting a human being. If you encounter her, do not make any sudden movements or direct eye contact, or do so at your own peril.
When she isn’t writing, she can be found spending time with her spouse, reading, or giving excellent but unsolicited advice.
